Hennys in Spain!

The long (and I mean long!) awaited visit from Grandpa, M.E. & Uncle Bobby happened last week. We reveled in our time together: We constantly snuggled, we climbed the hills, we ate tapas, we soaked up the incredible and intense sun, we ate more tapas, we gathered in the cave for nightly dinners, we drank local wine, we drank cold beers, we strolled the squares, we got some early (Will) and late (Leo) birthday legos, we ate warm churros and dipped them in chocolate, we relaxed on the terrace, we took siesta, we ate more tapas, we were gobsmacked by a 2000 year old Roman bridge, we enjoyed an intense and beautiful flamenco show, we indulged in afternoon and evening helado stops, we received a visit from Ratoncito Perez, we marveled at the geometry and faded colors of the Alhambra in Granada and the Mezquita in Córdoba. And we loved every minute of it. We are beyond grateful to have spent such a special time with beloved family and that we were able to share our daily Spanish life with them. In the words of Will the morning they left: "There's a hole in my heart now that they're gone".
