We are so lucky to have some beautiful hikes right outside our door. We've explored the ancient caves set right into the mountains, discovered crumbling abandoned churches covered in murals, spotted the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada in the distance, reveled in leaves changing to a brilliant golden hue, navigated a few icy cold river beds and of course endured our fair share of getting lost/whining/Pat taking us 6 kms more than he said we would be going. It's all part of the camino!
