Señor Ratoncito Pérez
Leo lost his first tooth! I cheered for him while simultaneously holding back tears with the thought that his mouth will soon be filled with teeth the size of chiclets and he will no longer be my babe. In Spain, they don't have a tooth fairy: they have a little mouse named "Señor Ratoncito Pérez", who comes to take your tooth and leaves a little cash behind. Apparently there is a museum in his honor in Madrid--which we will obvi be visiting come December-- and also a little plaque outside the factory where he was purported to live inside a box of cookies.
Leo carefully wrote him a note and tucked it (along with his tiny tooth) into an extremely hard to reach spot between his pillow and the bed. :) No pasa nada, Señor found it.
"Dear Ratoncito,
Here is my tooth. Love, Leo"
"Dear Leo, I see that you have lost your first tooth. It makes me, Ratoncito, very lucky. It's very special and this is why I gave you the coins. A hug with cheese, Ratoncito Perez"
Also just FYI that this was the sunset that night.

The big question is..... where does the tooth go?!?? We’ll discuss in Paris!
