Somos Granadinos!
The journey started last March in San Francisco with Pat's reddened and trembling face smooshed up against a plexiglass window at the Spanish consulate. And it finally ended last Friday when we picked up our residency cards at the police station in Granada. The Visas we worked so hard for back in the States were only the first part of the process....once we arrived in Granada we had to apply for the residency card that would allow us to stay past 3 months. And since we took Pedro with us for the initial appointment when we arrived in August, (he has the ability to charm even the most stone-faced bureaucrat) the process here has been relatively painless. Menos mal!!!
Note Leo's sig.
And yes, we know we look like hired assassins in our photos.
